my Journey
Henry Falzon (b. 1974) is a Maltese contemporary artist.
Henry's art path goes back decades starting from the early 90s with Black & White film photography as the first serious venture into the fine arts. Earlier still Henry spent his childhood sketching and drawing fantasy doodles. His first serious work resulted from en plein air work and later studio-based pastels. The current body of work is in oil-on-canvas and subject matter ranges from landscapes to figurative and portrait work.
The recurring and binding concept in Henry's work is always of the same simple narrative - representing reality with a finely veiled sprinkle of dream-like alterations. It's a departure from the mundane and the expected. Henry goes beyond the face value of life itself, he is often 'in a state of being pleasantly lost in his thoughts' and his work is a window into his credo.

Henry's 'forte' in his work remains that of capturing delicate moments in spectacular light.
